Assistive Technology
1. Jean-Marc:
*Was in a severe car accident in 1975 and was paralyzed from the neck down.
*He uses Head Mouse and Keystrokes. Head Mouse is something that you use to point and click with head movements. Keystrokes is an on-screen keyboard.
2. Giesbert:
*Was in a severe car accident that injured his spinal cord and paralyzed him from the neck down
*He uses a chin controlled wheel chair to get him around his apartment.
*He uses the telephone and opens doors with a special switch based remote control.
3. Jack:
*He has a progressive muscular disease called FOP which means he gradually loses motion in his joints
*He uses PowerBooks
